Japanese Efficiency - LT

Unlike the British counterparts I ordered from which took 30 days (!), the Japanese shop I bought these shoes from took just 3 days (!). As you can see, this means excitement. I even had a psychic moment where I knew it would be delivered this morning to my door at around 1030 (THE ESTIMATED TIME PREDICTED BY THE JAPANESE MAIL PPL ZOMG!)

Anyway, without further adue, I present my new purchase. Box in a box, how quaint.

Interesting design of the shoe box.
Enter left shoe.
Dramatic Suspenseful dark lighting.
With the strap!

You think you're cool? - SL

You guys probably think so, seeing you all finished your exams already, whereas I finish this friday...

BUT, you will never be dual wielding 3 magazined taped AK-47s open zipper cool!

That's right, Stevie's back after 5 days without internet, seems like the world ends when that happens... no one knew I was missing... fags haha, so while you boys and girls party hard this week, think about poor old me, still studying my ass off!

Meanwhile, watch this man dance his way around the world, you may or may not have seen him before on youtube, but this is his latest one:
Where the Hell is Matt? (2008)
14 months in the making, 42 countries, and a cast of thousands.

And so, it begins.. -DW

Thanks JL for being my awsome model- boys, perhaps some of these shirts? Also, thanks DJ's City for the kind use of their changerooms.
both shirts, Morrisey. And so, it begins, my foray into being a top model. I'm joking. I'm only oh, about 15cm too short. But I do love TopShop, shipping is a standard 10pounds, and it came in only 4 days after dispatching. So the flog and the shameful posing begins...

I can't find the sign for Pounds, so it'll be just "p"

Navy blue Fairtrade cotton exposed zip tunic- 22p
Bright Swirl Sunglasses- 12p (i think)
Jersey Cream top- 28p

So until the next flog, happy buying!

Australia - China - LT

The Chinese fans were out in force to witness a dead rubber (redundant soccer match). However, these fans were certainly delighted to see China "triumph" over Australia in a somewhat frustrating and poor game of football. Whilst the first half was more exciting, the second half definitely caved through the floor.

Of course, Harry Kewell did not celebrate in this fashion. Quite the opposite really. Seeing him on the big screen, he was always cursing and abusing the referee, frustrated by the second rate team Verbeek had opted to play. Moreover, it was a poor display of Australian football with the Aussies not understanding what the essence of counter attack means. Only creating chances from useless long balls, Australia were never going to score. Defensive blunders were just embarassing, even resulting in a pass back. 10 year olds know better than to pass the ball back...

So yes, Harry was rather pissed.

Ah, the Chinese side. Although they knew they weren't going through, a win is a win for them - and they will clutch on to it like no tomorrow. How? BY MARRING THE GAME, FAKING INJURIES AND JUST WASTING TIME. This is not professional. This is not football. If you want to be recognised as a senior team, then you must play the game with integrity and class. The Chinese team have belittled what was a rather entertaining goal with multitudes of time wasting antics and for that, there were two losers on the pitch last night.

The Black Tie- DW

In light of a certain event coming up, I have decided to put some inspiration ideas out there for you all. I know AT may be a much better candidate, but exams are over and I am inspired (after spending hours reading fashionblogs, which will hereafter be all flogs)

The suit. The details.

I don't know if this man did it as an accident, but I love the idea that the two panels of the back and the front of the tie lie side by side.

How effortless does he look? images thanks to the satorialist.com

So for an inspiration board I stole this from someone else's flog-

So what about shoes?

How strange and elongated are these? But somehow, it's ugliness and sheen makes it work. But I would wear these brogues. Maybe not so flashy. But it's kind of trashy at the same time- I love that.

So next time, I'm going to post something for the girls. Maybe to inspire myself to buy something to spice up my dress. It seems that it really is the cheapest thing out there..

For the sake of art- DW

So for the last week, we have all been busy in our little holes studying like we, as asians, typically should.
I for one, have decided to be a rebel, and not study.
What a momentus occasion. What has caused all of this non-study that I talk about? Blogs. Specifically, fashion blogs.

fashiontoast.com is a major one. It has inspired me to purchase copious amounts of ridiculously high heels, invest in good quality bags and drown myself in little floaty floral dresses, all the while wearing awesome tights.

I've come across these artworks by a cool cat:

Otherwise known as Thumbelina. sleepin under Sergio Rossi

or maybe Mulan and Fendi is more of your thing,

Cleopatra..

Joan of Arc in the effortlessly chic Chanel..

Would you bruise from a pea?

also, clarificaton for the first shoe post. the funny shoes that had two heels, was in fact Alexander McQueen.
I wonder what he was thinking, and if he had perhaps had a japanese mutant muse.

bloggers rejoice, with a prada-clad dorothy.
