On a sunny morning, I arrive in Beijing, excited for the beginning of the Olympics and the thousands of possible stories i may be writing on for the upcoming Olympics. After checking through the immigration process with relative i ease i reclaim my possessions at Carousel 8 - my pet dog Rocky and my AFL team that i take on night's out.
I meet my driver waiting for me and leave the airport for the city itself, as we leave i see a long line of young boys, pants down standing in the carpark. Curios, i go out to see what is going on. I too drop my pants and jack off. Shortly after i was back in my car.

As i sat in the car I called my family, who seemed to be excited for me. But I wanted to truly LIVE and see the city for myself. I stopped the driver and headed out, I would find my own way to the Olympic Village, i didnt need to be there till sunset. Here was my time to explore, so Rocky and I began to wander the streets of Beijing. He seemed a little mellow, he was hungry, so we went down to the local Woolworths to get some dog food.

Being well fed, we were off again. This time onto a tank that rolled to Tianmen, before getting on a bus just North of the town. With Rocky and my shades on, many thought i was blind, but i was kind enough to give up my seat for a mistaken crippie, who obviously needed the seat more than i did...we chatted, hes name was David (or was it Gravid...) he was telling me about the culture and hot restaurants in town.

Rocky and I walked into KwokFooXing a popular restaurant, funny how the locals eyed Rocky...I looked down the menu and found something i never tried before. I ordered the Squirrel with the Sweet and sour sauce.

But i was jetlagged and couldnt finish my meal, so I took away the rest in a doggy box and abused a plastic bag. Lucky i had local currency

Rocky and i decided to walk off our lunch in a nearby park where the locals were practising Wing Chun. But Rocky had to stop. He spilt the dog sauce...luckily i had a bag, after all i did pay 2 dollars for it.

We went back to the metropolis and went shopping for the latest fashions.

Like with all shopping and jetlag kicking in, I needed a break, and sat down at the nearest Starbucks.

After some refreshing tea i peered at my watch, 4. I called my driver again and we were headed to the village, i was greeted by the smiling faces of the local journalists who seemed pleased to have me as their foreign companion. I felt warm and prepared for the 2 months ahead.
After i day in Beijing i knew i was ready, Beijing was ready, Now, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
